Civilized Diamond Jubilee Party

The other day, I received a mailing list email with the potential answer to my "what to do for the Diamond Jubilee weekend" dilemma. As much as I love the idea of the flotilla, it's just going to be so hectic down by the river, isn't it? So, some friends and I are considering retreating to Bedford Square for some civilized entertainment at the Bourne & Hollingsworth Diamond Jubilee Party...

And don't forget to let me know your plans for the Bank Holiday weekend for the chance to win in my Jubilee-themed giveaway.

  1. This looks so good! We are in a massive dilema as what to do. Think we will definitely come central and have a wander, but not sure where we will end up yet. You are right about the Flotilla, sad as I really want to see it. xx

  2. Slight compensation for the flotilla is that the historic ships are apparently going to be berthed a few days beforehand so you can go down and look at them before the event - think I might try and do that... There's information about it on their website. Good luck working out what to do! x

  3. This is a great idea! I'm trying to think what I can do to celebrate, something involving cups of tea and my grandmothers royal family teaspoon collection. Oh to be jn London x

    1. Hope you find something lovely to do. If all else fails, just bake some scones, put some 50s music on the stereo and have some friends around x
