Love Letter from Mont St Michel

I spent last weekend in Normandy on a work social trip. We made it to Mont St Michel, as hoped. I'd really been looking forward to this, and it certainly didn't disappoint.... I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves, though they don't come anywhere near capturing the astounding beauty of this place, or the fun we had there.

    1. It was a prefect place to revitalise... Well, okay, it left me tired because I had so much fun, but it was lovely to be by the sea, with the country air, cheese and wine! And it was just revitalising to be in such a perfect, fairy tale setting!

  5. Oh what wonderful perspectives you find in your photography! These pictures touch my soul. The patterns are so pleasing. I love that you caught the island between the greenery (first photo) - and the chimneys between the buildings and under that gorgeous wooden elevated room (must be a proper name for it) with its beautiful leaded windows. And the little gate at the top of stone stairs, with the bonus of an unusual metal cross. And all the shades of grey in the last photo. Very special collection of photos. Thank you again!

    1. Thank you for your lovely comments. While I was quite happy with my little collection of photographs, I still don't feel that they even half capture it, because it was such an astonishing place. It's lovely to hear such a nice reaction to them though. And I'm not sure of the name for the timber room - I think it may just be a covered walkway but I don't know what was inside it!
