[Post-script: Have just read the following observation in a Guardian Comment piece, which I thought worthy of quoting here:
"The broom, raised aloft, and cups of tea carried on riot shields have become today's iconic images. How British. How beautifully British. And how very, very London."]
That is deeply touching, we need more positive stories like this in the news to help counterbalance the continual barrage of disheartening ones. Thank you for posting about this, over here on the other side of the Atlantic, I hadn't heard tell of any good news pertaining to the riots.
